Chattanooga Table Tennis Club meets at the Wyatt Rec Center in North Chattanooga. Table Tennis is the second most popular participation sport worldwide. Only Soccer beat out Table Tennis. Ball can travel at extreme speeds also making it one of the fastest sports. It take a great deal of hand skills and reflexes to master the sport. Just a wrong flick of the wrist and the ball goes wide. Beginning players have a particularly hard time with backspin. Backspin make it a test of defeating the net as an obstacle to victory.
